FOS Capital manufactures and distributes lighting for commercial buildings, public spaces and infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand.

We build commercial luminaires, outdoor fittings and linear extruded lighting in our own facilities in Brisbane and Sydney. Alongside that we distribute a wider range of commercial and architectural lighting, and supply street and roadway lighting for major infrastructure and urban development projects.

Most of what we sell is product we control end to end — our own brands, our own specifications, our own supply arrangements. That is deliberate. It lets us engineer to what a project actually needs rather than to what happens to be in a catalogue, and it keeps us in the room with the specifier, the contractor and the asset owner.

Our lighting is installed in transport infrastructure, offices, retail centres, schools and universities, hospitals, and public and architectural spaces. Infrastructure is our largest single market.

We supply projects in every Australian state, with our strongest presence in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, a substantial New Zealand business and a growing export book.

FOS Capital is run by the people who built it, and remains majority founder-owned.

Managing Director Con Scrinis has spent more than 40 years in the electrical and lighting industry. He founded commercial lighting manufacturer Moonlighting in 1991, and later Traffic Technologies, which developed the first Australian Standard approved LED traffic light.

Executive Director Michael Koutsakis has more than 30 years in the industry, in senior sales and marketing roles across Sunlighting/Holophane, Moonlighting, Zumtobel/Bega and WE-EF, before leading the lighting division at SKS Technologies. They are joined on the board by Non-Executive Chairman Sandy Beard and Non-Executive Director Michael Monsonego.
